The Location

The drive from Faro airport takes approximately 35 minutes and both Porches and Armacao de Pera (as well as nearby Lagoa and Carvoeiro) can offer a wide selection of local and European restaurants in addition to bars and shops.

To the east of Armacao de Pera is one of the best beaches in the Algarve, being about a mile long and easily accessible. The coastline running to the west of the town is undoubtedly the prettiest in this area, with small unspoilt coves, yellow cliffs, white sands and transparent seawater.

Two water parks. a Zoomarine, riding stables, several golf courses, tennis, water sports, (including paragliding) are all within easy reach.
